Gyno-Daktarin vaginal cream is indicated for the treatment of fungal infection in the vagina/vulva area such as vaginal thrush. Gyno-Daktarin can effectively treat the vaginal thrush infection whilst reducing the uncomfortable symptoms associated with it. The cream is designed to ease these symptoms, and the medication pack contains applicators so you can apply the cream properly inside your vagina cleanly and effectively.

Gyno-daktarin contains 20mg miconazole nitrate per one (1) gram cream
Direction
Use as prescribe by your doctor. Gyno-Daktarin cream is inserted high into the vagina once a day for 10 to 14 days or twice a day for one week, using the applicator provided. Gyno-Daktarin cream can also be applied to the outer vagina area (vulva) to treat fungal infection in this area and help relieve the associated itching.
Caution
Gyno-Daktarin products must not be taken by mouth. They are for vaginal use only. For practical reasons it may be preferable to insert this medicine at night, particularly if you are currently having a menstrual period. Follow the instructions given by your doctor. It is recommended that you use a light sanitary towel during treatment. It is important to finish the prescribed course of this medicine, even if it seems the infection has cleared up this is to ensure that the infection is fully treated and thus reduce the chance of it coming back.
