Buttercup Syrup Original is non-drowsy cough syrup that gives rapid relief for symptoms of coughs, colds and sore throats. It loosens mucus by making it thinner, therefore making it easier to cough up, and allowing you to clear you airways easier. It contains two active ingredients which help it to do this. Squill liquid extract, which is a plant extract and has a mild expectorant effect. The other active ingredient is Capsium Tincture, which gives the medicine an aromatic, warming flavour. These ingredients combine with a syrup base which coats and soothes the throat and relieves irritation. They come in 75ml and 200ml bottle sizes.
