Xalatan 0.005% Eye Drops – 2.5ml

Xalatan 0.005% Eye Drops – 2.5ml is indicated for managing elevated intraocular pressure in patients with glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
 
Ingredient
Each ml contains 50mcg of Latanoprost. Other ingredients include Sodium Chloride, Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate, Monohydrate-Disodium Phosphate, Anhydrous Benzalkonium Chloride 0.2mg and Water for Injection to 1ml.
 
Direction for Use
Xalatan eye drops should be used exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Use only the number of drops your doctor has prescribed. If you use more than one drop in the same eye, wait about 5 minutes before putting in the next drop. Wait at least 10 minutes before using any other eye drops that your doctor has prescribed.
 
Caution
Do not allow the tip of the Xalatan dropper to touch any surface, including your eyes or hands. Once opened the container may be stored at room temperature below 25 degree celsius. To be used within 4 wek after opening. Keep away from the sight and reach of children. Not recommended in patients with a known hypersensitivity to latanoprost, benzalkonium chloride, or any other ingredients in this product. Contact lenses should be removed prior to the administration of Xalatan. Contact lenses can be reinserted 15 minutes following administration.
 
Side Effects
Xalatan may gradually change eye colour by increasing the amount of brown pigment in the iris. The most common side effects for XALATAN may include blurred vision, burning and stinging, eye redness, eye itching, the feeling of something in the eye, increased darkening of eye color, irritation of the clear front surface of the eye.
