Zentel 200mg Tablets are indicated for the treatment of common worms, specifically deworming. It is designed to successfully clear threadworms, pinworms, roundworms, whipworms, tapeworms and hookworms from the gut and other tissues. It is thought to kill these worms by causing them to starve. Ingredient
Each tablet of Zentel contains 200mg of Albendazole.
Direction for Use
Zentel is suitable for anyone above the age of two and needs to be administered only two to three times annually. However, for more severe infection, Zentel needs to be taken once a day for three consecutive days. Adults and children older than 2 years, take two tablets. It is important to always take the full course of tablets, and not to immediately stop the medication when ones feel better.
Take your dosage with food or on an empty stomach. It is important to take the tablets on an empty stomach. Although in some conditions and as particularly advised by your physician the tablets may need to be taken after food. Zentel tablets can be taken crushed or chewed or swallowed in one whole.
Caution
There are some medical conditions which might interact with Zentel. Speak to your physician in case you are pregnant, if you are planning a pregnancy or breast feeding. Always keep the tablets in the original pack until it is time to take them. Store the package in a cool dry place. Keep the medicines out of the reach of children.
