Lamisil 1% Cream is used to treat fungal infections of the skin commonly known as ringworm. It can also be used to treat tinea of the feet (athletes foot). Lamisil cream 1% contains terbinafine, a broad spectrum antifungal drug that is used to treat a variety of fungal infections, and is particularly effective against dermatophyte fungi such as Trichophyton fungi that cause tinea infections in different parts of the body; also yeasts like Candida that cause candidiasis or thrush.

Direction for Use
Lamisil Cream is usually applied once or twice daily. Apply the cream to the affected skin and surrounding area in a thin layer and rub it in lightly. It is important to clean and thoroughly dry the affected areas before applying Lamisil Cream.
Caution
If your symptoms do not improve within a few days or if they become worse, check with your physician. Keep Lamisil Cream away from your eyes and the inside of your nose or mouth. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse eyes thoroughly with running water. It is not known if Lamisil is excreted in breast milk. Do not breast-feed while using Lamisil Cream.
