Lamivudine/Zidovudine 150mg/300mg – 60 Tablets indicated for the treatment of HIV infection. The two active ingredients: lamivudine and zidovudine, belong to a group of anti-retroviral medicines called nucleoside analogue reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). Lamivudine/Zidovudine does not completely cure HIV infection; it reduces the amount of HIV virus in your body, and keeps it at a low level. It also increases the CD4 cell count in your blood. CD4 cells are a type of white blood cell that are important in helping your body to fight infection. Not everyone responds to treatment with Lamivudine/Zidovudine in the same way. THEREFORE TAKE THIS MEDICATION ONLY WHEN PRESCRIBED BY YOUR DOCTOR. Your doctor will be monitoring the effectiveness of your treatment.

Each film coated tablet contains 150mg of Lamivudine USP and 300mg of Zidovudine as active ingredientts.
Direction for Use
Use as redirected by your Doctor. Always take Lamivudine/Zidovudine as directed by your doctor. The medicine can be taken with or without meal. Take the dose with adequate water. After being prescribed, do not stop taking lamivudine, even for a short period of time. If you do, the virus may grow resistant to the medicine and become harder to treat.
Caution
