GSK Piriton Syrup – 150ml provides fast relief from symptoms of skin, food and pet allergies, hay fever, house dust, mould spore allergies and insect bites. It also relieves the itchy rash of chicken pox. Suitable for children one year and above.
Ingredient
Each 5ml of syrup contains 2mg of Chlorphenamine maleate as the active ingredient. Also includes sucrose, ethanol, and mixture of methyl, ethyl and propyl hydroxybenzoates.
Direction for Use
For oral use only. Make use of two-headed spoon provided in pack. Age 1 to 2 years, one small (2.5ml) spoonful twice daily at least 4 hours apart. Between 2 to 6 years one small (2.5ml) spoonful every 4 to 6 hours. For ages between 6 to 12years give 2 large (5ml) spoonfuls (10ml) every 4 to 6 hours. For the elderly talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine as you may need to take a lower daily dose.
Caution
Not for children under 12 months. May cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive or perate machinery. Avoid alcoholic drin. If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
